More Information About The Jazz Festival

20th Annual Franklin Jazz Festival

Fills Public Square Labor Day Weekend

Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5-6

It's a 20-year tradition to celebrate the last days of summer with the Franklin Jazz Festival.

Additions to this year’s event include a larger "Jazz Café" (beer and wine tent) in sight of the Main Stage and a booth acting as a "Musical Petting Zoo" filled with musical instruments for kids to try out with the help of music professionals. This spot will also act as a donation site where used musical instruments can be dropped off to benefit the Franklin Special School district music department to help offset budget cuts experienced over the last 2 years. Donors will receive a tax receipt for the value of the instrument from the school district. Live music on the stage in the "Jazz Café" is in between acts on the Main Stage so that there is continuous live music during the entire event.
Admission is $5 at the gate.

May I add a personal note, please.
Our church is a supporter of "Our Thrift Store" that The Gear Foundation operates at 1018 Columbia Ave. in Franklin.
The Thrift Store is THE BEST ONE I HAVE EVER SHOPPED IN!!
The prices are great and I find name brands such as
Talbots and Liz Claiborne!
Here is a video done by the Founder-Dave Krikac:

I am sure that BrightStone is a wonderful organization, also.
Both are worthy causes to support!
