City Offers Options for Residents to Recycle Live Christmas Trees

City Offers Options for Residents to Recycle Live Christmas Trees
City of Franklin residents have two options for discarding live Christmas Trees.

Option one: Trees left at the curb will be collected by our Solid Waste Department. These trees must be unbagged and will be picked up on your regularly-scheduled trash collection day.

Option two:
drop the tree off at one of three designated City Park locations: Jim Warren Park (705 Boyd Mill Avenue); Liberty Park (2080 Turning Wheel Lane); and Fieldstone Park (1377 Hillsboro Road). Drop-off points at these locations will be clearly marked with green, wooden cut-out trees.
Both of these options will be available until February 1st.

Whichever option residents choose, the trees must be FREE of all ornaments, tinsel, lights, and other materials. Trees will be sent through the City’s grinder and recycled as mulch for use in City landscaping.

For more information, please call the City’s Solid Waste Department at 615-794-1516.

Respectively Submitted,
Debra Gerstenberger
Secretary, Andover Townhomes HOA
